IBM and Intel® Xeon® Processor 7400 Series Take the Lead on SAP SD 2-Tier Benchmark

IBM today announced a leadership 8-processor result on the 2-tier SAP® Sales and Distribution (SD) Standard Application Benchmark. The benchmark was run on an IBM System x* 3950 M2 server, configured with eight Intel® Xeon® X7460 processors and running IBM DB2* 9.5 and the SAP® ERP Release 6.0 application.
